Dwajarohana Marks the Beginning of Sri Raghavendra Swamy’s 355th Aradhana Mahotsava at Mantralayam

The auspicious 355th Aradhana Mahotsava of Sri Raghavendra Swamigalavaru commenced with the traditional Dwajarohana ceremony at Sri Mutt, Mantralayam, with great devotion and grandeur.

H.H. Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji performed the sacred rituals, followed by Gou Pooja and Ashwa Pooja, and thereafter hoisted the ceremonial flag, marking the formal commencement of the Aradhana celebrations. The Dwajarohana ceremony was enriched by Vedic chants, the melodious strains of mangalavadyas, and the enthusiastic participation of a large number of devotees from across the country.

Later, H.H. Sri Swamiji inaugurated the cultural programmes at Sri Yogeendra Sabha Mandira by performing Deepa Prajwalanam.

On the first day of the Saptaratrotsava, H.H. Sri Swamiji also performed Dhanya Pooja at Sri Mutt, as part of the traditional rituals associated with the Aradhana Mahotsava.
