On the auspicious occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, several religious and cultural programmes were held at Sri Matha with great devotion and enthusiasm.
In the morning, H.H. Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji spent a joyful and memorable time with the students of Sri Gurusarvabhouma Samskruta Vidyapeetha, sharing moments of happiness with them while swimming together in the sacred Parimala Teertha Pushkarini.
in the evening, grand Dahi Handi celebration was held at the Madwa Corridor with great devotion, enthusiasm, and joy.
Students of SGS Vidhyapeetha and staff members of Sri Mutt participated with immense excitement, making the celebration truly vibrant and memorable. The atmosphere was filled with devotion, happiness, and festive spirit as everyone came together to celebrate the divine birth of Lord Sri Krishna.
On this sacred occasion, H.H. Sri Swamiji performed the traditional Arghya and offered special pooja at Sri Matha, seeking the divine blessings of Lord Sri Krishna.

The next day, Sri Krishna Fancy Dress Competition and Singing Competition were held today at the Unjal Mantapa, Sri Matha, with great enthusiasm and devotion.
The highlight of the celebrations was the delightful participation of little children dressed as Lord Sri Krishna and Gopikas, adding a special charm and joy to the occasion. Their beautiful costumes and enthusiastic performances captivated everyone present.
The programme also featured an Anugraha Sandesha by H.H. Sri Swamiji, followed by the distribution of prizes to the winners and participants.
The celebrations created a joyful and devotional atmosphere, making the occasion truly memorable for everyone.
