On the auspicious occasion of Sri Raghavendra Teertha Gurusarvabhoumara Madhyaradhana Mahotsava, the Pratahkal Rathotsava was held in the Sri Mutt prakaram. H.H. Sri Swamiji ceremoniously commenced the Rathotsava by performing the mangalarati. A large number of devotees actively participated in this grand event. Later, H.H. Sri Swamiji conducted the Maha Panchamrutabhisheka to Sri Raghavendra Swamigalavara Moola Brundavana. Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamarajendra Wadiyar, a royal of the Mysuru Dynasty and Hon’ble Member of Loksabha for the Mysuru & Kodagu Constituency in Karnataka, visited Sri Kshetam Mantralayam today. He was warmly welcomed by Sri Mutt officials in a traditional manner. After having darshan of Sri Raghavendra Swamigalavaru, H.H. Sri Swamiji and Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamarajendra Wadiyar jointly inaugurated the front portion of the newly golden-sheeted Shilamantapa. They then participated together in the Gaja Vahana Sri Prahallada Rajaru Utsava, followed by the Rathotsava held in the Sri Mutt prakaram.
