13th Vedanta Samrajya Pattabhisheka Mahotsava
On the auspicious occasion of the 13th Vedanta Samrajya Pattabhisheka Mahotsava of H.H. Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji, several sacred rituals were performed at Sri Mutt, Mantralayam.
In the morning, H.H. Sri Swamiji performed the Sri Brahmakararchita Sri Moola Ramadevara Pooja, followed by the Sri Shodashabahu Narasimha Devara Pooja with great devotion.
In view of the ongoing war-like situation in the Nation, special homas such as Mrityunjaya, Ayushya, Markandeya, and others were performed at Sri Mutt, invoking divine blessings for the protection and well-being of the Indian soldiers and citizens of India.
In a solemn message, H.H. Sri Swamiji declared that, considering the national crisis, no celebratory events will be held apart from traditional and essential religious rituals.
Notable personalities who took part in the event included renowned Kannada actor and Prajakeeya Party President Sri Upendra with his family, and veteran Kannada actress Smt. Tara and her family, who offered their respects and participated in the rituals with devotion.
In the evening, devotees, disciples, and the residents of Mantralayam offered heartfelt felicitations to His Holiness at Sri Mutt, Mantralayam.
As a mark of devotion, the staff of Sri Mutt performed Tulabhara Seva to H.H. Sri Swamiji with coins, symbolizing their reverence and gratitude.
In His address, H.H. Sri Swamiji expressed concern over the current situation in the Nation, particularly in the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack, and commended the bold and decisive actions taken by the Central Government of India in response to the incident.
As a gesture of support and patriotism, H.H. Sri Swamiji announced a donation of ₹25 lakhs to the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, for the welfare of the armed forces.
