On the first day of Saptaratrotsava, TTD EO Sri J. Shyamala Rao brought Srivari Vastram from TTD. Sri Mutt officials and pandits received them in a grand procession from the Mahadwaram. Sri J. Shyamala Rao handed over the Srivari Vastram to H.H. Sri Swamiji, who then offered it to Sri Raghavendra Swamigalavaru. TTD officials honored Sri Swamiji with Sri Vari Sheshavastram and prasadam. H.H. Sri Swamiji blessed TTD EO Sri J. Shyamala Rao and other TTD officials and pandits with Sheshavastram, phalamantrakshate, and a memento. Later, H.H. Sri Swamiji inaugurated the Saptaratrotsava events with Dwajarohanam, Gou Pooja, and Ashwa Pooja. H.H. Sri Swamiji then performed Deepaprajwalanam at Yogeendra Sabha Mantapa and visited every section of Sri Mutt, blessing the employees. Subsequently, Dhanya Pooja was held in Unjala Mantapa.
