It is observed by the Mutt authorities that certain false and misleading news regarding the sale of lands belonging to Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Mantralayam located in Telangana State are being spread in Print, Electronic and Social media for the last couple of days. In this connection, we would like to clarify that the said process of sale of lands by way of public auction was started in the year 2017 itself, with due approval from the Government, duly following all the required formalities according the A.P.Endowments Act 30/1987 and rules framed there under, regarding sale of lands. In this connection, we further clarify that absolutely there is no interference or pressure from the State Government or the ruling party.

However, considering the movement of the pandemic suspected to be entering into further stage, the affects of the cyclone “Nivar” which has caused enormous loss in both the states, more particularly, during the field inspection by the Officer deputed by the Endowments Department for supervising the auction, several farmers cultivating the proposed lands requested to postpone the auction till harvesting is completed, so that they can participate in the auction more vigorously.

Hence, in view of all the above circumstances, it has been decided to defer the proposed auction process for the present.
